Martyrs: Innocence, Vengeance and Despair in the Middle East
Published in Hardcover by Palgrave Macmillan (May, 2003)
Authors: Joyce Davis and Joyce M. Davis
Average review score:

A solid book about a scary subject
I bought this book after seeing the author on television. She does a good job of explaining the motivations behind suicide bombers and the book makes it clear that this is a real danger for the US because the people who do this are not going to be stopped by large scale military actions, they are not united into one army that can be defeated. They are ready to give their lives to make a statement and to make their case known. We need to be aware of this.

Mass Appeal
Published in Paperback by Avon (April, 1981)
Author: Bill C., Davis
Average review score:

A stage play about an aging Priest and a risque student.
A wonderful play.. having seen both the movie and a stage production of it, as well as having read the script, I'm willing to say it's one of the most powerful dramas I've ever seen. Its many comic moments are always delightful and surprising, but the audience's smile quickly vanishes when the comedy slams into all-too-familiar emotion like so many vibrant tropical fish bursting in water left too hot. (Those who are familiar with the play will get this reference. Those who have not, read it! The tropical fish monologue is without question one of the strongest moments, though with such an intense drama, it is hard to decide on a favorite scene.) I strongly reccomend it to fans of literature and drama alike.

Mass Spectrometry (Analytical Chemistry by Open Learning (Series).)
Published in Hardcover by John Wiley & Son Ltd (January, 1999)
Authors: James Barker, D. J. Ando, and Reg Mass Spectrometry Davis
Average review score:

Excellent teaching tool
This book is great! If you don't have access to college courses or the time to take them then this is a book for you. This book is clearly written and its exercises guide you through properly interpreting mass spectra. The first edition of this book is also excellent. If you compare this book to McLafferty's (Interpretation of Mass Spectra) this is much more effective for teaching the beginner. I highly recommend this book

A Master Guide to Meditation
Published in Paperback by Csa Pr (February, 2002)
Author: Roy Eugene Davis
Average review score:

A true Guru for life improvment
I have read this book dozens of times. I have read it so often because there is so much to learn and understand in it. Roy Eugene Davis is excellent at explaining the workings of the universe and our world. This was the first book of his I read and have read many of his others since. All are just as pleasing as this one. If you are looking to improve your life and especially if you are looking for Spiritual enlightenment look no futher. Mr. Davis shows you how to look inside for what you search for on the outside.

The Master's Bride
Published in Paperback by Avon (January, 1993)
Author: Suzannah Davis
Average review score:

All time keeper.
The back of the book blurb reads:

"The Legendary composure of Boston shipbuilder Lock McKin is shaken by the arrival of a stunning jewel from the Pacific Islands--a mysterious mixed-blood beauty called Lili, who claims to be the grandaughter of Lock's lifelong nemesis. Outspoken and audacious, she enflames the master shipwright's passion and fiery Scottish temper...yet possesses a touching vulnerability that breaches the battlements he errected to safeguard his emotions. A marriage of convenience to the enchantress offers Lock an opportunity to avenge the wrongs of his enemy. But Lili is a woman best by inner tomrents and plagued by ghosts of a devasting past--giving rise to a shocking scandal that could destry the handsome "Iron Man" whom she has grown to love with all her heart and soul."

I loved this book. It has become one of my all time favorites for re-reads. I found this book and "Angel Eyes" in a used book store several years ago. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any more works by this author.

Everytime I re-read this one after a long time, the story makes me teary eyed. Constance or "Lili" is such a full personality of insecurities and passions that she is just an unbelievable heart wrenching character. It's a painful reading sometime because Lock is sometimes so mean to Constance. But his doubts to her sanity can be explained as well.

This book has everything, passion, drama, love, laughter, suspense and more. It was a very well written book. I would recommend this book to anyone that can find it.

Incredible! even my 11 year old son has learned it!
What an incredible, easy and VERY accurate method! I followed the simple and easy diagrams and information that was in the book and not only did I find Everything in my own hand accurately shown by the lines and marks, but I have now read tons of other peoples hands and they are amazed and surprised how accurately I have described them, their past, present and what lies ahead and so much more! I recommend anyone who is interested in this to definately check out this book....you won't be sorry! My son has learned it as well and he enjoys using this skill as well!

best way to protect yourself!!!
This book is a literal lifesaver!! I used it when I needed to go over my own medical chart, and it helped me to make sense of what was going on. Every patient or potential patient needs to take responsibility for making sure that they do not become a medication or hospital error, and this book gives them the translation tools to begin to decipher what is going on in their charts. A big step toward medical democracy!!
